I only used my debit card or my paypal account when it comes to internet shopping. I’ve never used my credit card ever since coz I am afraid. The checklist below are from Smartmoney magazine June 2005 issue. The reason why I post this checklist here is very simple. For me, this is the best checklist for internet shoppers must know. And I just want to help online shoppers how to stay safe while shopping online using their credit cards.

The check list is.
Stay Safe: Deal only with web retailers that provide a physical address and phone number on their site. This is to make sure that one but you and the merchant who can view your payment information, make sure the retailer provides a secure connection at checkout. It is either the checkout page’s URL should start with “https” or your web browser display an unbroken lock or key at the bottom left-hand corner.
